About us
We know for certain that a great many people care: they cannot walk past the trouble and suffering of animals with no home. TailBook exists to join that compassion into one coordinated network - so that more people help, so that change comes faster, so that every tail is a happier one.
At the end of 2022, in Budva, Konstantin Skavitin had an idea: an app that would help improve the lives of homeless animals. A team of caring professionals gathered around it - that is how TailBook began.
For the first years we built the mobile app, helped the animals around us and published annual reports on what came of it. Every animal fed, treated and homed confirmed the same thing: this way works.
Today TailBook is already more than an app. Every animal has its own profile and its own story, help is recorded and adds up into one picture, and people, groups, shelters and organizations work in one network. Everything you see here is real records by real participants.
Nobody can help every animal alone. We want to help millions of people - so that as many animals as possible get help.
The profile, the story, the needs - everything is built around the animal. Whatever any of us does becomes part of its story.
No invented people, stories or numbers. If a section is empty, the network is still growing - and we show that honestly.
Your profile is closed until you open it yourself. Nobody appears on a public page without their own decision.
The story of help assembles itself from recorded actions. Nobody has to write it, and nobody can embellish it.
TailBook has been made by dozens of people - some for years, some for a few evenings. Here is everyone whose time, knowledge and experience live in the project, in the roles they helped in.
